Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joyce Marie Hatley of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away at the age of 94, on February 14, 2025. Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Newman and Della Newman; her husband James Marvin Hatley; and her children, Sherry Marie Hatley and James Ronald Hatley.
She is survived by: her daughter Renee Burgess (Eddie) of Amarillo; her daughter-in-law Paula Hatley; and her brother Dale Newman of Amarillo. She is also survived by three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
