It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Curry (Amarillo, Texas), who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse W. Mitchell (Bill) and Ella Marie Mitchell; her daughter Tana Curry; and her son-in-law Quentin. She is survived by: her husband Bill Curry; her son Toby Curry; her grandchildren, Cameron, Jakkie, Katherine and Colby; and her pet Daisy. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Blankets of Love program or the P.E.O. Foundation.

“Juanita and I were school secretaries in the Tucumcari Public School District for many years. She, plus numerous other ladies, gave me a beautiful baby shower for our first born, Terry Riddle. I'll never forget this life-long friend but know she's with her beautiful daughter, Tana, whom she has missed for so long and was taken at a young age and very suddenly. She never got to say good-bye. Love and prayers for her family. Mike & Thelma Jo Riddle”
