He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Viola (Park) and Dr. William "Bill" Edward Boyd; and his significant other Dorothy Wilson. He is survived by: his son Casey Boyd (Viola); his grandchildren, William "Austin" Boyd and Abigail Reneé Boyd; and his sisters, Diana Horton (Billy Bob), Margie Sims (James) and Ellen Johnson.
