She was predeceased by: her sisters-in-law, Sharon Robinson and Suzi McCarty. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Charles Short; her daughter Ana Lyn Short Hoeksema; her son-in-law Bradley Jon Hoeksema; her grandsons, John Charles Hoeksema, Jack Joseph Hoeksema and Jude Henry Hoeksema; her daughter Abi Lee Short; and her granddaughter Josephine Ana Cowles. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Paramount Baptist Church (3801 S Western St, Amarillo, TX 79124).
