She was predeceased by: her parents, Moon Chanthapanya and Laone Chanthapanya; her husband Chithanong Kongdara; and her siblings, Vong Chanthapanya and Mak Chanthapanya.

She is survived by: her children, Thanongmek Kongdara (Mali), Thanongneth Kongdara, Thanongdeth Kongdara, Thanongsack Kongdara (April), Christal Miller and Khammanihack Kongdara; and her grandchildren, Brendan, Tanner, Jayden, Kaitlyn, Sydney, Tara, Austin, Baylee, Skylar, Mason and Kadyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
