Lanell Leonard Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanell Leonard in Amarillo, Texas, born in Mobeetie, Texas, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arch and Flora Mae Morgan Scribner; her daughter Janis Mae Leonard; her grandson Travis Neil Brunson; and her brothers, James Dalton Scribner, Lawrence M. Scribner, Jerald Wayne Scribner, Charles Glen Scribner and Johnnie Lee Scribner.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Gibbs of Elk City, OK, June Brunson (Jerry) of Amarillo and Michael Leonard (Mary Jo) of Canadian; her grandchildren, Greta Gibbs Boyd (Doug) of Lincoln, NE, Drew Gibbs of Elk City, OK, Belton Gibbs (Skye) of Macomb, OK, Cindy Brunson Nikkel (Darren) of Hereford, Trent Brunson (Clare) of New York, NY, Ebbie Brunson of Amarillo and Kami Leonard Gilmour (Andrew) of Canadian; and her siblings, Naomi Elliott, Ola Mae Williams, Marie Kilcrease (George) and Archie Jean Scribner (Judy). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
