He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Day and Lawrence Day Sr.; and his former wife Paula Day. He is survived by: his wife Larraine Day of Georgetown, Texas; his son Travis Day of Madison, Alabama; his stepchildren, Brandon Reeves (Kellie) of Canadian, Texas, Cameron Reeves (Jenn) of Canyon, Texas, Berkeley Boren (Jaden) of Bushland, Texas and Leslie Lathem (Kyle) of Forsyth, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Royale Reeves (Parke), Alexa Reeves (Ren), Zach Reeves (Ashley), Teel Reeves, Mia Boren and Mazie Boren; and his great grandchildren, Remi, Ivy Reeves and Robin Bell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
