He is survived by: his wife Sharon Carter (McCarley); his daughters, Kristi Carter Weil (Clinton) and Stacie Carter Mathis (Joshua); his grandchildren, Carter Weil, Cash Weil and Reese Mathis; his sister Debbie Pennington; his mother-in-law Ruby McCarley; his brother-in-law Steven McCarley (Clifann); his nephew Wade Pennington (Asa); and his niece Nicole McCarley Gordon (Eric). He is also survived by cousins, extended family members, and long-time friends.
