She is survived by: her husband Roberto Montoya Sr.; her children, Jose Montoya, Roberto Montoya Jr., Galinda Montoya and Leslie Montoya; her grandchildren, Jose, Matthew, Ariana, Sergio, Nayeli, Fabian, Nathan and Kimberly; and her mother Amparo Mayorga. She is also survived by eight sisters and two brothers.
