It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Cheatheam of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ward and Anne Ward; her husband Lark Cheatheam; her son Bill Cheatheam; and her grandsons, Jeff Medlin and Corkey Medlin.

She is survived by: her children, Melody Griffin of Amarillo and Bob Cheatheam (Amy) of Abilene; her grandchildren, Nicole Griffin, Faith Montano (Adrian), Dustin Cheatheam, Sy Cheatheam, Beth Burleson (Captain) and Ben Cheatheam; and her great grandchildren, Saba, Ryleigh, Joscelin, Madison, Dawson, Jude and Bloom.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Beacon Baptist Church (417 N McMasters St, Amarillo, TX 79106).

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Beacon Baptist Church, 417 S. McMasters, Amarillo, TX 79106.
