We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2022, Lorene Lavone (Seales) Benham of Amarillo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband J. Weldon Benham; and her parents, Frank Seales and Olga Seales (Wiseman). She is survived by: her son Brian Benham (Karen Scalf-Benham) of Blacksburg, VA; and her sister Pauline Woolsey (Harold) of Canyon, TX. She is also survived by three nieces and nephews.

Donations in honor of Lorene will be used to build a dorm wing dedicated to Lorene. Tax-deductible donations can be made via check to the Maasai Education Foundation, 345 Woods Lane, Newport VA, 24128-4022, or online via the MEF PayPal Giving Fund (https://paypal.com).
