We announce the death of Marilyn May Gipson of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 90. Marilyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Maxwell and Grady Maxwell; her husband Harry Gipson; her siblings, Rex Maxwell and Wanda Rich; and her son-in-law Steve Eldridge.
She is survived by: her brothers, Richard Maxwell (Genell) and Kenneth Maxwell (Theresa); her children, Cindy Stewart (Russell), Donnie Gipson (Terri), Julie Eldridge (Steve) and Robert Gipson (Julie); her grandchildren, Valerie Smith (Chris), Kenny Stewart (Merritt), Lindsey Page (Brady), Tyler Gipson (Carley), Emily Eldridge, Sarah Eldridge, Jackson Eldridge, Brian Gipson (Melissa), Jennifer Gann (Aaron) and Carmen Gipson; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn Smith, Ethan Smith, Jacob Stewart, Katie Stewart, Macie Stewart, Pressley Page, Paycen Page, Wyatt Gipson and Zoey Gipson.
