He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria "Betty" McElroy and Ted Rusiewicz; and his nephew Marc Knox. He is survived by: his sister Lorraine Assalone; his nephews, Mike Knox (Lorie) and Jim Knox (Jana); and his niece Jill Anglolieri (George).
