He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie McKay and J. C. McKay; and his siblings, Cheyenne Wheatley, Dave McKay and Patrick McKay.
He is survived by: his significant other Rosezetta Packer; his brother Jeffrey McKay (Vanitha); his children, Mischia Rae Farrer, Mieko Racquel McKay and Marlin Kendrick McKay; and his grandchildren, Jordi Oliver Farrer, Maelyn Laney McKay, Madisyn Leigh McKay and Kolanie McKay Fleurimont.
