He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hawthorne; his children, Quentin Tinner (Chrissy), Makalae Tinner and Mahalia Tinner (Amarillo); and his siblings, Alma Tinner Anderson, Helene Tinner Smothers, Linda Tinner Barber (Amarillo), Latichia Tinner Stevens (Senerchia), Katherine Tinner (Dallas), Leonard Tinner and Ronnie (Muriel). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
