With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neal Scott of Amarillo, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 27, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy J. Shapiro and Meyer H. Shapiro. He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Heiman (Scott) of Chicago, IL and Alisa Scott Fox (Andrew) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, David Heiman, Samantha Heiman and Nicholas Carducci; his caregiver Pam Nash; Christi Ashley of Hereford, Riley and Tylar.
He established the Dorothy J. Shapiro scholarship for teaching with the WT Foundation and was a member of the Old Main society.
