She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel, Sr. Alexander and Pearl Collins Alexander; her son Gregory Nickerson; and her siblings, Nathaniel, Jr., Mildred Faye Westmoreland and Barbara Ann Rodgers.

She is survived by: her husband O. D.; her children, Kingery (Cathy) of Amarillo, Roger of Amarillo, Reverend Xavier Nickerson of Dallas, Texas and Yolanda Nickerson Brown of Houston; and her siblings, Robert Alexander of Childress and Mae Cathryn Goodman of Fort Worth Texas. She is also survived by Twelve grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and, a host of other relatives, and friends.
