We announce the death of Norman E. Wright Jr. (Amarillo, Texas), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Wright and Betty Wright; his wife Peggy Ann Wright; and his sisters, Susan Lawson and Sara Wright.
He is survived by: his daughter Karon McManus of Houston; his granddaughters, Lucy, Meagan and Launa; his brother Geoff; his sister-in-law Lacy Wright of Flower Mound; his sister Martha; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Irei of Phoenix and Bill Lawson of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (2525 Wimberly Rd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
