With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pablo Contreras of Amarillo, Texas, born in Sabinal, Texas, who passed away on September 30, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Contreras and Merejilda Ortiz (Guzman); his wife Lulu Contreras; and his sons, Victor and Louis Contreras.
He is survived by: his brothers, Monty, James and Alejandro Ortiz; his children, Min Galaviz (John), Richard Contreras and Henry Contreras (Delores); and his daughters-in-law, Lupe Contreras, Donna Contreras and Matilda Fant. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 34 great great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
