He is survived by: his former wife Jackie Hower; his pet Ace; his children, Ruth Garza, Vickie Kinsey, Jeremy Hower (Maria), Brandon McClain (Beverly), Michael Collins Seraphim (Gabi), Phillip Glenn Hower (Kandyce) and Cedrich Hower; his siblings, Charlene Grube of Tucson, Roland Hower of Boulder and Glenn Hower of Phoenix, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Skylar Jellison, Bri'Anna Rackley, Amanda Gray, Lauren Taylor Gray, Josh Kinsey, Arianna Kinsey, Bryan David Kettler, Ryan James Kettler, Allye McClain, Andi McClain, Aly Seraphim and Kirsten Hower.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oasis Baptist Church (8201 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79110).
