With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Brumley Weeter (Amarillo, Texas), who passed away on February 28, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Weeter and Theresa Weeter (Brumley). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Weeter (Morrow); his daughters, Terri Schingle (Rick) of Amarillo, Angel London (Weeter) of Amarillo and Melinda Jones (Weeter) of Amarillo; his sister Janie Henderson (Ronny) of Amarillo; and his grandchildren, Luke Palmer, Clay Gollihugh, Ben Jones, Mandi Jones and Gracie Thorp. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
