She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Lutz and Petronella Lutz; her son Peter Barget; and her siblings, Willibald, Bruno, Maria Pfeuffer, Theresa and Heinerich.

She is survived by: her children, Ingrid Austin (Jackson) of Wilson, Texas, Tim Ballinger (Brooke) of Dumas and Chris Ballinger of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Tyler Gilbert, Sawyer Austin, Finn Austin and Katharina Barget; her siblings, Wally Boston (Gary) of Simi Valley, Sofie Heinickel of Germany and Joseph Lutz of Munich; and her pet Halle.
