She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie VanDame (Kirsch) and Joseph VanDame; her husband Don; her sister Sandy Hopkins; and her son Marc.
She is survived by: her brothers, Don VanDame (Janet Fritton) and Ed VanDame (Donna); her children, Chris Schrowangen (Rochelle) of Southlake, Texas, Donna Sims of Amarillo, Texas and Kord T. Schrowangen (Melissa) of Amarillo, Texas; and her grandchildren, Kord Seth Schrowangen (Kylie), Sabra Walker (Bubba), Boone Weber (Jordan) and Cassidy Melton (David). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Ladder of Smiles, 7418 E. 26th Street North, Wichita, KS 67226.
