With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rito Reynosa Carrasco (Amarillo, Texas), who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Carrasco and Virginia Carrasco; his parents-in-law, Frances and Leo Salazar; his children, Helen, Rito, Jesse (Gordo) and Leo (Nosey); and his sons-in-law, Rick Garcia and Danny Ballin.
He is survived by: his wife Angie Carrasco; his children, Rita Ballin, Pat Carrasco and Johnny Carrasco; his granddaughters, Tanya Ballin, Virgie Carrasco, Amanda Ballin (Gill Herrera), Angela Garcia and Sonja Garcia; his grandson-in-law John Garcia; and his grandchildren, Cassandra Soleyjacks (Robert Soleyjacks), John Carrasco Jr., Patrick Rueda and Isaiah Carrasco.
A prayer will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1210 SE 11th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79102).
