He was predeceased by: his parents, Elna Ruth "Becky" Bagot and Donald Bagot; and his brother Don Bagot. He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Ruth Bagot and Carrie Sims (Jack); his grandchildren, Brayden Knox, Austin and Tripp Sims; and his siblings, Rebecca Allen (John) and Dick Bagot (Claudette). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Boxwell Brothers Chapel (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Llano Cemetery (2900 S Hayes St, Amarillo, TX 79103).

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests donations be made to Sister-Bear Foundation.

I met Robert through a friend of his and he always made me feel at home in his house and I do not think he ever met a stranger. Rest now my friend. Donna Brewer”
