Robert D. Forrester Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Forrester (Amarillo, Texas), who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Forrester and Arla Renner Forrester; his wife Texan (Carol Lee Tate); and his brothers, Carroll Mack, Richard and Kenneth.

He is survived by: his pets, Fred and Perla; his children, Robert Forrester, Jr. (Katie) of Lancaster, PA, Heather Russell (Hugh) of Amarillo, Margaret Forrester of Amarillo and Tate Forrester (Kirk) of Birmingham, AL; and his grandchildren, Gavin O'Donnell, Tres Forrester, Finneghan Forrester, Lauren Russell, Holden Russell, Bess Forrester, Reed Forrester, Mack Forrester and Sam Forrester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for memorials made to one of the following organizations: Heal the City or the Mack and Arla Forrester Scholarship Fund at Amarillo College.
