He is survived by: his wife Cindy Taute of Amarillo, Texas; his sister Evelyn McDowell of Quincy, Illinois; his children, Andrea Cochran (Johnny Cochran) of Houston, Texas, Scott Taute (Brittany Taute) of Amarillo, Texas and Nicole Velasco (Rudy Velasco) of Amarillo, Texas.; his grandchildren, Hunter, Parker Cochran, J. D., Meredith, Zoey Taute, Trace and Tessa Velasco; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Lammers (Karen Lammers) and Kim Rice (Jeff Cutler).
