She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Robert Safarik and Mildred E. McJunkin Safarik; and her parents-in-law, John and Ada Phillips. She is survived by: her husband Wes Phillips; her children, John Edgar Phillips (Anna Lisa Minor) and Theresa Phillips; her grandchildren, John Kai Phillips, Ashley Younger and Madison Burkovich (Tim); her brother John Warren Safarik (Sharon); and her pet Kitchems.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Polk Street Methodist Church (1401 S Polk St, Amarillo, TX 79101).
