He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Ashlock and Lillie Lindsey Ashlock; and his siblings, Haskel (Altalou) of Weatherford, TX, Earl (Altamay) of Hitchcock, TX, Lynn (Dorris) of Amarillo, TX, Coy (Birdie) of Tulsa, OK, Geneva Hall (Thurman) of Amarillo, TX, Kenneth (Lucille) of Oklahoma City, OK, Genice Sanchez (Ted) of Amarillo, TX, Betty Sandlin (Bill) of Hamilton, Ohio and Lois Ashlock.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" of Amarillo; his sons, Tim (Kelley Jo) of Friona, TX and Stephen (Suzanne) of Pflugerville, TX; his grandchildren, August, Alyson of Pflugerville, Maddox and Kennedy of Friona; his brother-in-law Mike Matteo (Glynda) of Chandler, TX; and his sister Verlene Williams of Amarillo, TX. He is also survived by many other Family Members, countless Nieces, Nephews, Friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jake's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association West Texas Chapter or Comanche Trails Church of Christ.
