He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Roy Don Howington; his wife Lori Howington; and his sons, Roy Don Howington II, Barry Howington, Bob Benson and Amarillo of Texas.
He often donated toys to those who were less fortunate, gaining the official title of Papa Elf.
