She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lucian and Ellen Beatrice Souder; her children, James Elton Pitts and Janace Elaine Ross; her siblings, Mary Ellen Mitchell, J. L. Souder, Jr., Margaret Reeves, Frances Sasser, Betty Lancaster, Annie Mae Spear and Joyce Souder; and her great grandchild Tawni Kay Estes.
She is survived by: her husband Elvis Pitts; her daughter Donita Roch (Jim); her son-in-law Ron Ross; her siblings, Tommie Neeley (Zeke), Connie James (Teddy) and Perry Souder (Carol); and her grandchildren, Stacy Easley, Kellye Ford (Corey), Suzanne Pingel (Brad), Michael Barton (Christina) and Amber Jeffords (Robert). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
