He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Urbano, Antonia Esqueda, Ygnacio Enriques and Concepcion Jimenez Moreno; his brother Gilbert Herrera; his father-in-law Gilbert Valverde; and his son-in-law John Cook Jr..
He is survived by: his parents, Rudy Moreno Sr. (Lydia) and Selda Moreno (Esqueda); his wife Anna V. Moreno; his children, Dominique (Vincent Rodriguez), Shaun Castro and Mariah Moreno-Cook; his grandchildren, Analez Ramos (Brennan), Echo Sifuentez, Meadow Sifuentez (Jose Caraballo), Jameson Rodriguez, Tristan Castro (Jaylynn Martinez), Maliyah Moreno-Cook, Zemeri Moreno-Cook and Willow Moreno-Cook; his great grandchildren, Joshua Caraballo, Elias Martinez Valverde and Baby Ramos; his mother-in-law Amelia Valverde; his siblings, Michael Esqueda and Loretta Moreno; and his pets, Blu, Prissy and Sabie. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
