It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Vandiver of Amarillo, Texas, born in Reydon, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 23, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vandiver and Lillie Vandiver (Bates); his siblings, Bert Vandiver, Ruth, Modell and Josephine; and his nephew Jim Rowley.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Vandiver; his children, Sue Ann Bawden, Jack Vandiver and Bob Vandiver; and his stepdaughter Tammy Swartz. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
