It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kaye (Saffel) Buchholtz in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Edwin and Mildred Irene Saffel; her siblings, Michael L. Saffel and Mickey D. Gallivan; and her son-in-law Phu Au.
She is survived by: her brother Roy Saffel Jr. of Alpine; her daughter Yvonne Buchholtz; her husband Bryan of Amarillo; and her close friend Ruby Gaitan of Amarillo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
