It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Ingels (Amarillo, Texas), born in Ellsworth, Kansas, who passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulery Gilbert and Gladys Gilbert; her husband Bob Ingels (Bob); her daughter Debbie Dunavin; and her daughter-in-law Dana Ingels.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Marena Ingels), Dale Ingels and David (Lisa Ingels); her son-in-law Mike Dunavin; her grandchildren, April Tucker (Gannon), Jarrod Dunavin (Kelly), Branda Morales (Jerry), Krisha, Austin Ingels and Gentry Ingels; and her siblings, Joan Lloyd of Tulsa, OK and Lee Gilbert (Jane) of Overland, Kansas. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
