He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Eunice (Robertson) and Harold Kurts; his sisters, Ester Hickam and Zola Ann Short; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Raney and Norm Meyers.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kurts; his son Justin Kurts (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Addison Kurts and Kenadie Kurts; his daughter Jeanie Jimenez (Andrew); his grandchildren, Khadence Flores, Aubree Coates, Brycen Kurts and Brinlyn Jimenez; his great grandchild Madaline Flores; and his siblings, Carolyn Raney, Mary Beth Meyers and Jim Kurts.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be given to Snack Pak 4 Kids Amarillo, or American Cancer Society Gene and Jerry Jones Family Hope Lodge Dallas.
