With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Schroeter of Amarillo, Texas, born in Mena, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 83. As Sue departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sue. Though Sue may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alex. She is survived by: her children, Becky Ray of Hereford, Jim Curtis (Elizabeth) of Hereford and Quincy Curtis (Tarabeth) of Amarillo; and her sisters, Patsy Gnaw (Ed) of Hot Springs, Sharon Pitcox of Brady and Sandy Kitten (Charlie) of McKinney, Texas.. She is also survived by three stepchildren.
