He was predeceased by: his parents, Orris Sougstad and Mildred Sougstad. He is survived by: his daughter Erin Laura Seifstad of Philadelphia, PA; his grandchildren, Emre and Ilayda Seifstad; and his siblings, Ruth Sougstad of Albuquerque, N. M. and David Sougstad of Amarillo, TX..
