He is survived by: his daughters, Penny Davis (Jerry) of Wellington and Julie Reel (James) of Bushland; his grandchildren, Macy Markham (Topper) of Carrollton, Cassidy Davis, Kristen Tyree of Durham, Jalee Davis of Aurora, Jaren Thomas Alvarado (Meagan) of Amarillo, Hunter Reel (Alex) of Tennessee, Shiloh Reel of Dallas and Rhett Reel of Lubbock; and his great grandchild Jace Thomas Markham of Carrollton.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Coulter Road Baptist Church (8310 Coulter St S, Amarillo, TX 79119). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (14200 I-27, Amarillo, TX 79119).
