She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Houck and Elizabeth Houck (Melvin); her son Ted Sumner; and her children-in-law, Jeri Sumner and Larry Boston.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Sumner (Ted); her children, Teddy and Phyllis Boston; her brothers, Wendell (Lana Houck), Leroy Houck and John (Marjorie Houck); her grandchildren, Paul Boston (Cristie), Lori Grimes (Tim), Calvin Boston (Tammy), Lance Sumner, Virginia and Tracey Sumner; her great grandchildren, Taylor Boston, Maddison Freas, Michael Tracy, Elizabeth Tracy, Joshua Sumner and Rochelle Sumner; and her great great grandchild Ellie Tracy.
