He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wayne Wayland Claxton and Mary Nell Claxton; his wife Cheri Scott; his children, Brittany Claxton (Ryan Jordan), Jay Ryan Claxton (Mackenzie) and Jaci Claxton; his grandchildren, Jase Claxton, Kirkland Claxton, Tatum Claxton and Hamilton Claxton; his brother Chuck Claxton (Marcy); his siblings-in-law, Kerilyn Brown (William), Dale Scott (Krista) and Rex Bostwick; his sibling's children, Colten Claxton (Riley), Morgan Claxton, Kaedan, Kyler Bostwick, Caleb and Kailey Scott; and his parents-in-law, Kerry and Phyllis Scott.
