She was predeceased by: her parents, Heriberto Herrera and Julia Herrera; her siblings, Ferando, Roland, Gilbert and Martha; and her grandson Jacob Martinez.

She is survived by: her husband Manuel Puentes; her daughters, Teresa Martinez (Robin) of Amarillo, Rosanna Bustos (Ambrose) of Lubbock, Beatrice Dominguez of Amarillo and Leticia Gonzales of Amarillo; and her siblings, Javier Herrera (Marcella) of Amarillo, Ester Ballin (Tony) of Amarillo, Ophelia Guzman of Amarillo, Hortencia Martinez (Lupe) of Poteet, TX and Lupe Herrera of San Antonio, TX.. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
