We announce the death of Jeanette Smith of Anahuac, Texas, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 82. Jeanette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest King and Irene Watson King; her husband Donald Smith; and her siblings, Walter King and Deborah Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Smith Jr. and Deanette; her son-in-law Charles Land; and her grandchildren, Dwain Land, Ethan Smith and Abby Smith. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Anahuac Cemetery (1315 Farm to Market Rd 563, Anahuac, TX 77514).
