She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Lee (Helen Spitzer Laughlin) and Sagerton. She is survived by: her siblings, LaMoine and Melvin Lee; her children, Brett (Kim) and Cheryl Lieck Henry (Tommy); her grandchildren, Demian Lieck (Anna), Allison Lieck, Cameron Lieck McCrary (Lucas), Katrina Swope, Cale Swope (Savannah), Anne-Marie Henry and James Thomas Henry; and her great grandchildren, Ronin Lieck, Emersyn Swope and Augustus McCrary. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers one can make a donation to the Chambers County Library System or the Anahuac Methodist Church in Marlene's honor.
