He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Boehm and Sophie Miller Boehm; and his siblings, Esther (Herbert Schaffer), Lucille (Jim Schaffer), Gertrude (Charles Hilley), Maeola (Bernard Roese), Erna (Hubert Hemann), Ruth Homeyer, Emmett Boehm (Edwina), Edward Boehm (Jean) and Leonard Boehm (Gus Oris Boehm).

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Boehm; his daughter Shelly Sellars; his granddaughter Maia Sellars; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn Schaffer, Fred Homeyer, Pauline Boehm and Joyce Boehm. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nobles Funeral Chapel (402 Blackshear St, Navasota, TX 77868). A prayer was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1530 E Washington Ave, Navasota, TX 77868-3243). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (455 FM 149, Anderson, TX 77830).
