She was predeceased by : her father William Simmons; her husband Rex Barton; her mother Kitty Simmons; and her siblings, C. C. Simmons, Archie Simmons, Jack Simmons, Pauline Zausner, Annie Jones and Mary Younger.

She is survived by : her children, Don Barton (Daisy) of Andrews, TX. and Kay Nguyen (Quoc) of Kingsland, TX.; and her grandchildren, Carl Barton, Kevin Barton (Ashley), Wendy LaFoe (Charles) and Scott Coley (Stephanie). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
