He was predeceased by: his mother Angela McMichael; and his grandparents, David, Ruby Hathcoat, Jesse McMichael and June McMichael Smith.
He is survived by: his father David McMichael (Barbie) of Athens; his sister Laura Landrum of Mansfield; his grandmother Betty McMichael of Athens; his aunts and uncles, Dale McMichael of Athens, James Hathcoat (Vickie) of Sulphur Springs, Ronald Hathcoat of McKinney, Rebecca Lawson of Pittsburg, Beverly Stringer (Scott) of Athens, Connie Shultz (Chuck) of LaRue and Kay Baker (Forrest) of Winnsboro; and his pet Weller.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
