He is survived by: his son Rick Hammond (Patti); his grandchildren, Kaylon (Mike), Alex (Catherine) and Hillary; his great grandchildren, Hattie, Charlie and Eliot; his stepdaughter Carolyn Box; and his siblings, Nina McKay, Marvin Hammond, Percy Hammond, Mary Anne Hornbustle, Wanda Jo Hazlewood and Jackie Belle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
