She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Buchta and Mary Buchta (Drastata); her former husband John Courtney; her husband Andrew Shefts; her daughter Melody Hadley (Courtney); and her siblings, Sally Davis (Buchta), Rudolph Joseph (RJ), Richard and Gerald Buchta.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Cardona (Joe), Angela Bacot (Danny) and Christopher Courtney; and her siblings, Clarice Buchta, Stephen and Gregory Buchta.
