She was predeceased by: her parents, Cherrie Mae Ward and James Ward, Sr.; her grandparents, John Henry Thomas, Dave Ward, Sr., Thelma Thomas and Nannie Williams; her siblings, James Ward, Jr., Emmitt Ward, Andrew Ward and Susie Branch; her aunts and uncles, Dollie Mae Thomas, Ella Thomas, Deloris Helms, Jewel Holmes, Ernest Thomas, Herman Thomas, Sr., Albert (Robert Matthews) and Mose (Howard McDonald); and her brother-in-law Roy B. Willis, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Hershie Ward (Robnette), Natorshe Lott, Cherrie David (William) and LaRee Clincy (Lurenza); her siblings, Jessica Willis, Debra Duplechain (Edward), Frankie Ward, Rosie Davis (Charlie), Vincent Ward (Gloria) and Harold Ward (Sharon); her aunts, Evelyn Thomas and Mary Matthews; her uncle John Henry Thomas, Sr. (Linda); and her cousin Eddie Mae Jones. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
